We are looking for a communicative and outgoing QA/Support Engineer to be a part of our distributed integration development team. Your main task will be to participate in migration of current integration solutions across all Nordic countries to a new and sustainable environment. You will spend a lot of time doing detective work and testing, providing explanations to developers and architects. Your role will consist of a lot of communication towards third parties and presentation of new solutions. From time to time, you need to be resilient and persuasive with a clear focus on main goal – ensure that everybody is connected via our services. This is a very broad role that will bring you to the heart of backend development and put you on the spot in the highly dynamic banking industry. You and you only will decide how to take it and what you can bring on the table.
Our client is a large Nordic company (one of the largest finance groups in Europe) providing a broad range of financial services. You will take place in the European part of development team building a new set of services for core banking system integration functionality. We expect you to take on a role as QA/Support Engineer and work closely together with the team and other stakeholders. Daily communication with colleagues onsite as well as with other developers/business users and occasional business trips (when not restricted) will be an essential part of the working process.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Participate in existing project in all phases of the development process;
Contact and utilize communication with relevant stakeholders for support of integration solution migration to newer platform;
Present and understand integration capabilities;
Test legacy solution (REST API/SOAP) and support developers with findings;
Navigate through intricacies of banking core solution and interpret results of your findings;
Reading through old solution codebases – as you don’t have to be familiar with programming yourself, you need to be eager to learn.

10 team members located in CZ, PL and NO;
The team works in Agile environment.
About the project:
The team is responsible for developing and maintaining an integration layer that connects internal bank systems with various internal and external applications;
Work is mainly about development, maintenance, but also green field.
Professional requirements:
Very strong communication and persuasion skills, strong outgoing approach;
Interest in agentic development, experience with microservices, distributed systems;
English: intermediate high, both verbal and written;
Strong analytical and critical thinking
Preferably with history of support position or Business Analyst (2+ years) OR 2+ years experience in testing, familiarity with API testing and reporting bugs
Nice to have:
Experience in financial software development;
Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Portal;
Experience with work in multinational environment;
Knowledge of basic accounting principles;
Utilizing AI as a tool for explanation and PoC creation.
