Our client is preparing for a significant step – migrating from a traditional DWH solution to Microsoft Fabric.

We are looking for an experienced professional who will not only design the architecture of the new platform but also manage its transition and shape the future of data within the company. 

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Analysis and Design of Solutions: Analyzing business processes, transforming requirements into technical solutions, and proposing possible enhancements.
• Data Integration: Designing, developing, testing, and implementing modern data pipelines, advanced ETL processes, data flows, APIs, and visualizations.
• Data Analysis and Accessibility: Supporting clients and colleagues in accessing and analyzing data.
• Data Architecture: Designing and implementing architectures, data warehouses, and databases that support data access and advanced analytics.
• Defining Best Practices: Participating in the creation of standards and best practices for modern BI and AI solutions.
• Customer Support: Managing, operating, and further developing customer data platforms.

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in implementing data projects.
• Experience with MS Fabric (or possibly Synapse, Databricks).
• Good knowledge of DWH architecture and experience with modern data platforms.
• Practical knowledge of Azure technologies (Azure SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, Microsoft Fabric) is an advantage.
• Motivation to continually learn and develop in a fast-changing industry.
• English language: level B2.

It will be an advantage if you have:

• Business acumen and experience as a consultant.
• Experience with services from other cloud providers (AWS, GCP).
• Experience in sectors such as energy, industry, or finance.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Data processing (data wrangling, data quality control) for structured and unstructured data.
  • Design and orchestration of data pipelines for both streaming and batch data processing.
  • Data modeling and governance.
  • Building cloud data platforms that support reporting and analytical projects.
  • Creating technical architecture solutions.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Fabric is a significant advantage.
