We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our distributed development team. The customer is a large Nordic bank that is part of one of Europe’s biggest financial groups, offering a wide range of financial services.

You will take place in the European part of development team building a new set of services for a new service layer aimed at integrating various internal as well as end customer facing applications to the underlying Core Banking systems. Daily communication with colleagues onsite as well as with other developers/business users will be an essential part of the working process.

Your responsibilities:

• Obtain and master the knowledge of Core systems capabilities and APIs

• Be on top of new changes in Core banking systems by coordinating with supporting teams and relevant managers

• Learn requirements of integrating applications and service layers. Be able to suggest implementation ways to resolve requests based on knowledge of Core systems functionality and limitations

• Be a part of development team on a daily basis. Support and guide the development team working on integration solution

• Be responsible for the requirements description in collaboration with Architect who is responsible for the technical part of the implementation

• Work on the Features and User Stories in collaborations with Architect

• Lead the meetings with stakeholders from different development/support teams to find the most efficient solution

How do we imagine you? Ideally you should:

• Be able to use English fluently, both verbal and written
• Be a fast learner
• Experience with programmatic thinking
• Be able to read and understand code (previous experience with Python/JS/C# etc.)
• Have great analytical skills 

It would be beneficial if you also:

• Have banking or fintech background

• Have experience with Azure DevOps
• Have previous experience with business analysis
• Have experience with REST API/WCF
